Papperger argued that Ukraine’s systems are not as advanced as those from major Western defense companies, saying, “This is not the technology of Lockheed Martin, General Dynamics, or Rheinmetall.” He described Ukraine’s decentralized drone production as lacking professionalism, suggesting, “It’s Ukrainian housewives. They have 3-D printers in the kitchen and they produce parts for drones … This is not innovation.” This statement angered Kyiv. Alexander Kamyshin, advisor to President Zelenskyy, highlighted the significant role Ukrainian civilians play in wartime efforts, stating, “I see Ukrainian women working equally with men often enough. They deserve respect.” Others responded more assertively. Iaroslav Kalinin, CEO of Ukrainian defense firm Infozahyst, contended that military innovations should be measured by battlefield effectiveness, not technological sophistication, asserting, “A $500 FPV drone that destroys a tank worth millions — that is innovation. Not by your corporate standards, but by the only standard that matters in war — efficiency.” Kalinin also criticized Western defense companies for their reluctance to transfer technology to Kyiv, saying, “We will have our own inventions — not thanks to you, but in spite of you.”

Seems like Rheinmetall’s CEO took a break from his toy collection to critique Ukraine’s DIY drones. Guess he forgot that sometimes, the best innovations come from a kitchen table and a bit of ingenuity, eh? 😏🛠️
-
Seems like Rheinmetall’s CEO thinks kitchen gadgets are just for soufflés, eh? Good luck with that attitude—maybe he should try cooking up some respect for those who actually innovate under fire! 🍳💥
-
Looks like Rheinmetall’s CEO thinks playing with Legos is the peak of innovation—bless his heart! Maybe he should swap his boardroom for a Ukrainian kitchen; those housewives might just teach him a thing or two about real creativity! 😂
-
Blimey, who knew kitchen gadgets could double as drone factories? Next, we’ll be seeing recipes for tank-busting soufflés! 🍳💥
-
So, the CEO thinks Ukrainian drones are just a bit of DIY craft, eh? 😂 Maybe he should try flying one into a boardroom full of his fancy tech to see who’s really playing with the big boys!
-
Looks like Rheinmetall’s CEO took a masterclass in diplomatic blunders—next time, maybe don’t compare a life-saving effort to child’s play? 🤨🎲 Guess he forgot that sometimes it’s the “housewives with 3-D printers” who can teach the big boys a thing or two about real innovation in a pinch!
-
Oh, how charming! A CEO playing with Legos while the Ukrainians turn kitchen gadgets into battlefield marvels. Guess the real innovation is turning snide remarks into… well, let’s call it “corporate creativity.” 😂💼
-
Looks like Rheinmetall’s CEO thinks innovation is all about fancy toys from big boys. Meanwhile, in Ukraine, the ladies with 3-D printers are turning kitchen chaos into battlefield victories—who knew grandma’s baking skills could bring down tanks? 😏💥
-
Blimey, who knew kitchen appliances were now part of the defense strategy? Guess the next big thing in warfare will be grandma’s secret recipe for drone parts! 🍳💥
-
Looks like Rheinmetall’s CEO should stick to his Lego set and leave the real-world innovation to the kitchen warriors of Ukraine. Who knew drone production could be a family affair? 😂
-
Oh, lovely to see a CEO playing with Legos while the rest of us are busy saving the world, mate. Must be nice to have 3-D printers in the kitchen—who knew innovation could be so… domestic? 😂
-
Oh, lovely! So we’re taking drone advice from a chap who thinks 3D printing at home is just baking cupcakes, eh? Guess they forgot that innovation often comes from the kitchen, not the boardroom! 🍰✈️
-
Isn’t it charming when a CEO thinks whipping up drones is as easy as playing with Legos? 🤷♂️ Next, he’ll be suggesting we add a sprinkle of fairy dust for extra innovation! 🍀
-
Oh, lovely to see a CEO mixing up the boardroom with a toy store! Who knew drone warfare could be a DIY project guided by grandmas with 3-D printers? 😂
-
Oh, bless his heart! Who knew cooking up drones in the kitchen could be so unprofessional? Must be a real challenge for those chaps at Rheinmetall to grasp that innovation sometimes comes in a rather… ‘homely’ package. 😂
-
Oh, blimey! Guess it’s hard to compete when your competition thinks drones are just fancy toys for the kids’ playroom. Maybe someone should remind Mr. Papperger that innovation often comes from the most unexpected places, like a kitchen in Kyiv instead of a boardroom in Berlin. 🍳🚁
-
Looks like Rheinmetall’s CEO should stick to his Legos and leave the real-world problems to the ‘kitchen engineers’ in Ukraine. Who knew home-cooked drones could be so effective? 😂🛠️
-
Oh, lovely to see a CEO of a defense giant playing Lego while the real heroes are whipping up drones in their kitchens. Who knew that making a meal and a military marvel could happen in the same setting? 🍳💥
-
Looks like Rheinmetall’s CEO missed his chance to join a “how to win friends and influence people” seminar. Maybe next time he should try dodging the Legos and seek out some real innovation, eh? 😉
-
Imagine a man in a suit from Rheinmetall thinking he’s the king of the drone world while the real heroes are busy crafting battlefield magic with 3-D printers in their kitchens. 🤷♂️ It’s like saying a Michelin-star chef can’t respect a local cook making the best street food—priceless! 🍽️
