Mickoski: The focus is on bilateral issues and disputes, not on our reforms and actions.

Tirana – Prime Minister Christian Mitskoski expressed today in Tirana that he believes bilateral issues should not dictate a country’s eligibility for full EU membership. He emphasized that the focus should be on tangible reforms and progress. “As long as we prioritize delivery, our state will remain competitive, and I am confident we will achieve our goal first,” he stated in response to a journalist’s inquiry.

He referenced the lengthy process, noting that they have been striving for over 25 years, with 20 of those as a candidate country. “What we’ve gone through is something I wouldn’t wish upon anyone. Establishing exceptions can lead to a slippery slope where other member states may use these precedents against us,” Mitskoski remarked. He reiterated that the essence lies in the delivery of reforms and fulfilling necessary steps for progress, reinforcing his belief in his country’s competitiveness.

When asked about potential changes in European positions, Mitskoski indicated it varies, but he remains focused on the development agenda and plan. He mentioned that after the completion of local elections, they have swiftly resumed work on pending steps. “By the end of the year, I expect to complete at least eight, possibly even ten, of the twelve outstanding steps,” said Mitskoski. 1. Bilateral issues? Pfft, who needs ’em when you can just keep talking about reforms like they’re the next big thing since sliced bread? 😂 No worries, mate, I’m sure all those steps will magically appear by New Year’s!

  2. Bilateral disputes? Pfft, who needs those when you’ve got a solid 25-year plan, eh? Just throw in a few more ‘promises’ and we’ll be sipping espresso in Brussels in no time! 😏🍵

Oh, lovely, more talk about reforms while we all know the real focus is on keeping the seats warm in Brussels! 😂 It’s like saying a broken clock is right twice a day—except, in this case, it’s just a lot of noise with no time kept.

Bilateral issues, eh? Sounds like a classic case of “let’s ignore the mountain of reforms while we bicker over a molehill.” 🤷‍♂️ Gotta love the EU bureaucracy – it’s like waiting for a bus that never arrives, but hey, at least we’re competitive in the waiting game! 🚍💼

  5. Seems like the Prime Minister found a new hobby: counting steps like it’s a fitness challenge! 😂 Good luck with that, mate; hope those reforms don’t need a GPS to locate!

Bilateral issues, eh? Sounds like a delightful detour from actually getting things done. Maybe if we spend another 25 years talking about it, we’ll finally get somewhere… or just a nice cup of coffee in the meantime. ☕️😅

Nice to see our PM playing hide and seek with EU membership—because who needs real reforms when you can just blame bilateral squabbles, right? 🤷‍♂️ It’s like saying the dog ate my homework, but for a whole country! 😂

Oh sure, let’s just ignore those pesky bilateral issues while we dance around reforms like it’s a Viennese waltz. 🎶 After all, who needs progress when you can just keep promising to deliver, right? 😂

Oh, brilliant strategy there, mate! Focusing on bilateral issues while reforming takes a special kind of genius—like trying to polish a turd and expecting it to shine! 😂

Oh sure, let’s just ignore 25 years of “progress” and focus on the paperwork, right? 😂 Who needs reforms when you can have endless discussions about bilateral issues? Classic!

So, let me get this straight—after 25 years of ‘striving,’ we’re still talking about bilateral issues like they’re the latest fashion trend? 😂 Sounds like a classic case of “we’ll get there eventually, just not today.” Cheers to that! 🍷

Right, because nothing screams “reform” like a 25-year-long wait on the EU membership queue. 🕰️ One can only hope that “delivery” doesn’t mean just ordering takeout while we’re at it! 🍕

Oh, nothing like a good old-fashioned game of “let’s ignore the elephant in the room” while we pat ourselves on the back for being competitive, eh? 🤦‍♂️ Keep dreaming about those reforms while the rest of us crack open a cold one and watch the show! 🍻

Bilateral issues, eh? Sounds like a classic case of “let’s ignore the elephant in the room while we polish our shoes for the EU ball!” 😂 Just hope they don’t trip over their own reforms on the way there!

Bilateral squabbles over reforms? Classic! It’s like arguing over the garnish while the steak’s still mooing. 🍽️💼

Oh, brilliant! Who knew that focusing on bilateral disputes instead of actual reforms would be the secret sauce to EU membership? Maybe they should add “delivering nothing” to the curriculum of competitive statecraft! 😂

Oh sure, let’s just ignore those pesky reforms while we play diplomatic hopscotch! Can’t wait to see how that ‘competitive’ edge does against the EU’s endless paperwork! 😂

Oh, perfect! Let’s just keep waving our magic wand over those bilateral squabbles while pretending the reforms are just going to drop from the sky like fairy dust. 😂 Who needs progress when you can have an endless game of “pass the hot potato”?

Oh sure, let’s focus on those bilateral issues while reforming our way to the top – because nothing screams progress like a 25-year wait, right? 😂

Bilateral issues? Oh, please, who needs those pesky little details when you’ve got a shiny list of reforms to tick off like it’s a grocery shopping spree? 😏 Just another day in the bureaucratic circus, eh?
