Hamas Denies US Allegation of Planned Ceasefire Violation

Cairo (Eurotoday Newspaper) – Hamas dismissed a statement from the U.S. State Department on Sunday, which referenced “credible reports” suggesting that the Palestinian militant group might soon breach the ceasefire agreement with Israel.

What did the US State Department allege about Hamas? How did Hamas accuse the US of siding with Israel?

In a statement on Sunday, the Palestinian group stated that the US allegations were wrong and

“fully align with the misleading Israeli propaganda and provide cover for the continuation of the occupation’s crimes and organised aggression against our people”.

What did the US State Department allege about Hamas?

The US State Department mentioned that Hamas is preparing an assault on civilians in Gaza, which would be a serious violation of the ceasefire, and called on mediators to pressure the group to adhere to its commitments in the peace agreement brokered with US support.

Late Saturday, the State Department announced that it had acquired

“credible reports indicating an imminent ceasefire violation by Hamas against the people of Gaza”,

Al Jazeera reported.

“Should Hamas proceed with this attack, measures will be taken to protect the people of Gaza and preserve the integrity of the ceasefire,”

it stated without giving exact particulars on the planned attack.

President Donald Trump has previously cautioned Hamas not to be involved in killing civilians.

“If Hamas continues to kill people in Gaza, which was not the Deal, we will have no choice but to go in and kill them,”

Trump stated.

How did Hamas accuse the US of siding with Israel?

The Palestinian group called on the US to

“stop repeating the [Israeli] occupation’s misleading narrative and to focus on curbing its repeated violations of the ceasefire agreement”.

“The facts on the ground reveal the exact opposite, as the occupation authorities are the ones who formed, armed,

Seems like Hamas is taking a page from the classic “Not me, it’s them!” playbook – so charming, really, like trying to sell ice to Eskimos. 😂 Keep the drama coming, it’s almost as entertaining as watching paint dry!

Typical, innit? The US throws a tantrum about ceasefires while sipping espresso, as if they’ve never seen a good old-fashioned blame game before. 🙄 Just another day in the global soap opera!

Oh, classic move! When in doubt, just throw a bit of shade at the US while playing the victim card. Must be a new strategy straight out of the political playbook—bravo! 🙄🇪🇺

Isn’t it delightful when everyone plays the blame game? Nothing says diplomacy quite like a good ol’ “who’s lying more” contest between Hamas and Uncle Sam. 🤷‍♂️

Seems like Hamas and the US are playing a classic game of “who’s more honest,” though I must say, the US has the edge with their talent for creative storytelling. 🤷‍♂️ Next, they’ll be claiming they invented peace!

  6. Seems like Hamas is playing a riveting game of “Who’s the Bigger Liar” with the US—too bad the prize is just another round of ceasefire violations. 🤷‍♂️ Guess integrity is harder to find than a decent cup of coffee around here!

Another day, another round of “I didn’t do it” from Hamas. Really, who needs credibility when you’ve got a talent for dodging responsibility like a pro footballer in a pub league? 😂

Seems like the US State Department and Hamas are having a bit of a “he said, she said” moment—because nothing screams credibility like a game of hot potato over ceasefires, amirite? 🤷‍♂️

Seems like Hamas took a crash course in PR, denying allegations with all the enthusiasm of a wet sponge at a party. Just what we need, more “credible” reports in this delightful game of geopolitical charades! 😏

Seems like Hamas is really feeling the pressure, huh? Maybe next they’ll hold a press conference to announce how they’re “totally not breaching a ceasefire” while juggling flaming torches. 😂

Seems like some folks are playing a high-stakes game of charades, but without the talent for acting. 🎭 Who knew geopolitics could be this entertaining? 🍿

As a seasoned diplomat might say, it’s rather refreshing to see that Hamas has decided to play the blame game with the U.S. instead of, you know, actually sticking to the ceasefire—such a classic move, it’s like watching an old Euro flick! 🎬😂

  13. Just when you thought the ceasefire was like a British summer—raining on everyone’s parade—Hamas steps in with a classic “Not us, mate!” 🙄 Seems like diplomacy’s off the menu again.

  14. Blimey, who knew the U.S. had a crystal ball? Maybe Hamas just needs a new PR team – or perhaps they could just stop being so *dramatic* about ceasefires. 😏

Seems like Hamas is on a roll with their PR campaign—who needs credibility when you’ve got a solid script to follow? 🤷‍♂️ Classic misdirection, mate; just another day in the never-ending soap opera of Middle Eastern politics! 🥴

You know, it’s truly refreshing how Hamas can so effortlessly dismiss accusations like a politician dodges questions—who knew they had such a knack for PR? 😏✨ Must be all that practice in the art of misdirection, eh?

So, Hamas is claiming the U.S. has got it all wrong, eh? Maybe next they’ll suggest the moon’s made of cheese while they’re at it. 🧀✨

Typical, innit? The US is like that guy at the pub insisting he knows all about football, while the rest of us just roll our eyes and sip our pints. 🍻

Looks like Hamas has taken a crash course in diplomatic doublespeak – who knew denying a ceasefire violation could be so theatrical? 🎭 Next up, they’ll be auditioning for reality TV with those kinds of performances, mate! 😂

  20. Looks like Hamas thinks the US is just a dramatic stage manager for Israeli soap operas—always ready with a scandal but never a solution! 🎭🙄
