AZ Delta Unveils 400-Space Parking Tower in Torhout

Torhout (Brussels Morning Newspaper) – AZ Delta hospital in Torhout opened a new 400-space parking tower on Noordlaan, with a footbridge to the hospital. The old lot is closed. The main entrance will soon move.

As VRT News has reported, on July 23, 2025, a new parking tower opened at the AZ Delta hospital in Torhout, West Flanders, Belgium. Visitors and patients are now able to park on site at the hospital. The tower has several levels and offers more space for cars. It is closer to the entrance.

How is AZ Delta Torhout improving access with its new 400-space parking tower?

The old parking lot for visitors at AZ Delta in Torhout is now closed. It was not part of the hospital and will soon be used for something else. The hospital has not said what will happen with the space.

All parking at AZ Delta Hospital in Torhout is now in the new parking tower. The tower has space for about 400 cars. According to officials, it is easy to reach by using Noordlaan. This helps keep traffic lower at the old entrance on Sint-Rembertlaan. People can park their cars and walk to the hospital using a footbridge. This bridge connects the parking tower directly to the hospital.

They mentioned that the hospital wants everything to be closer and simpler for people who come for care. Work is also still going on at the hospital. The part of the building where patients come for check-ups and doctor visits is being fixed and improved.

These updates are part of a bigger plan to make the hospital better. The hospital is making sure it can help more people in the region in a good way.

So, let me get this straight: a 400-space parking tower at a hospital? Finally, the real healthcare revolution—because nothing says “I’m here for help” quite like circling a multi-story car park! 🚗💼

Oh splendid! Nothing says “we care” quite like a 400-space parking tower—because, you know, hospital visits are all about the parking experience, right? 🚗💨

Oh fantastic, a parking tower! Just what we needed—more concrete in Torhout. Can’t wait to stroll across that footbridge while pondering the mysteries of why we can’t find our way out of a parking lot! 😂

Finally, a parking tower that can house more cars than the local football club has fans. Who knew healthcare came with a multi-story car park? 🚗💼

Oh, fantastic! Just what we needed—a parking tower to solve all our problems. Because nothing says “hospital care” like navigating four levels of concrete just to get a band-aid! 🚗💨

Oh, brilliant! Just what we needed, a high-rise for metal boxes while the actual healthcare still looks like it’s stuck in the ‘90s. 🚗💔 Hope the footbridge is long enough for all the “improved access” nonsense!
