Amid Russia’s ongoing conflict in Ukraine, growing instability in the Middle East, and lingering concerns about U.S. dedication to transatlantic security, leaders will explore how spending commitments can enhance the bloc’s military capabilities and global autonomy.

The agenda also includes strengthening the single market to enhance the bloc’s competitiveness, as well as discussions on enlargement and accession for Ukraine and Moldova.
