Russia Launches Major Attack on Ukraine Following ‘Spider Web’ Drone Strike

Ukraine’s air force reported that 452 drones and missiles targeted the country, impacting 13 locations during a four-hour attack. Over 400 of these drones and missiles were intercepted or neutralized. According to the State Emergency Service of Ukraine, all fatalities on Friday were first responders. Local reports highlighted significant destruction, power outages, and casualties across several regions.

President Zelenskyy stated, “Russia must be held accountable for this,” emphasizing the ongoing assault on cities and villages since the war began. In Kyiv, three individuals were killed, and 20 were injured, with over 2,000 people experiencing electricity outages. Six districts sustained damage.

In Ternopil, residents were advised to shut their windows as attacks on energy facilities released toxic smoke. Five first responders sustained injuries. A local official noted that parts of Ternopil lost power, reducing water pressure citywide. In Lutsk, a residential building was struck, injuring 15 people, according to Governor Ivan Rudnytskyi. Damage was also reported in the Poltava, Chernihiv, Sumy, and Cherkasy regions.

Oh great, just what we needed – a fresh supply of fireworks courtesy of our not-so-friendly neighbor. 🇷🇺💥 At this rate, I might just invest in a good pair of earplugs instead of a new business suit! 😉

Another day, another “friendly” chat with our neighbor to the east. At this point, it’s like watching a bad soap opera—just when you think the drama can’t get any worse, they throw in a plot twist with drones. 🍿

Arms Trafficking Thrives in Türkiye, Bulgaria, and Greece
When a gun ends up in the hands of a street gang in France or a criminal network in Berlin, few people ask: where did this weapon come from?
