Trump Gives Putin Two Weeks for Action on Ukraine Amid Strained Relationship

Russia has increased its attacks on Ukraine in recent weeks, despite a successful prisoner swap last week.

Trump, once an admirer of Putin, has criticized the Russian president amid these attacks, calling him “CRAZY” and saying he is “playing with fire.”

When questioned about not imposing new sanctions on Russia, Trump stated: “If I think I’m close to getting a deal, I don’t want to screw it up by doing that. I’m a lot tougher than the people you’re talking about, but you have to know when to use that.”

“If I think it’s going to hurt a deal — this isn’t my war, this is Biden’s war, Zelenskyy’s war, Putin’s war. This isn’t Trump’s war.”

Russia invaded Ukraine in early 2022, with hundreds of thousands of soldiers killed on both sides.

Earlier Wednesday, the U.N. concluded that Russia has systematically committed war crimes against civilians in Ukraine’s Kherson region.

Oh, lovely! Just what we need, a two-week ultimatum from a reality TV star—because nothing says diplomatic finesse like a countdown clock! 🕒✨

Just what we need, a two-week countdown for Putin to decide if he wants more chaos—like waiting for my bus in the rain. Nice to see diplomacy is as effective as a chocolate teapot! 😂

Typical Trump, eh? 🤷‍♂️ Handing out deadlines like they’re free samples at a market, while the world’s watching the circus unfold. 🎪

Just brilliant, innit? Trump’s masterclass on diplomacy: give a madman two weeks to play nice while the rest of us just enjoy the show over a pint. 🍺

Just what we needed—another round of tough love from the master negotiator himself. Two weeks? That’s like giving a cat a week to sort out its feelings about bath time. 🐱💦

  6. Looks like Trump’s got a real knack for diplomacy—give the madman two weeks and hope he doesn’t set off any fireworks in the meantime. 😏 Just what we need, more poker face negotiations while Ukrainians are stuck in the middle of this circus! 🎪

Well, isn’t it quaint? Trump’s strategy seems to be akin to waiting for a bus while it’s pouring rain—no umbrella, just optimism and a vague hope that Putin will play nice. 🚏💼
