Macron Urges Trump to Blame Putin and Demands Russia ‘Stop Lying’ About Ukraine

On Wednesday, U.S. President Donald Trump voiced his frustration over Ukraine’s reluctance to accept certain demands during ongoing negotiations, directing sharp criticism at Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy in a post on Truth Social.

French President Emmanuel Macron responded by urging Trump to focus his anger on the true instigator of the conflict.

“There is an aggressor, Russia, and there is a victim, Ukraine,” Macron said. “American frustration should be directed at only one person: President Putin.”

Although Trump has repeatedly targeted Zelenskyy in his remarks, he also expressed disapproval of Russian President Vladimir Putin following a deadly missile strike on Kyiv on Thursday.

“That attack was unnecessary and came at a terrible time,” Trump wrote in another Truth Social post. “Vladimir, STOP! 5,000 soldiers a week are dying. Let’s get the Peace Deal DONE!”

Oh, brilliant! Nothing like a game of blame chess where Macron plays the noble knight, while Trump’s just flipping pieces off the board. 🤨 If only diplomacy came with a manual, eh? 😂

Typical Trump, huh? Blaming the guy who’s not even in the room while throwing shade at the one who’s just trying to keep his country from turning into a giant BBQ pit. Classic. 😂 #WhereIsTheLogic

  3. Oh, brilliant! Who knew the solution to geopolitical chess was just a good old-fashioned finger-pointing session? 🤦‍♂️ Next, Macron will suggest a bake sale to settle the whole thing! 🍰💼

  4. Oh, so now Macron thinks he’s the peacemaker of the century? Next, he’ll be asking Putin for a cuppa while Zelenskyy plays the piano at the next peace summit! 😂🇫🇷

Seems like Macron’s got the memo on the classic “pass the blame” game – must be a European sport by now! 😂 Just what we needed, another round of “Who’s the real villain?” while sipping espresso. Cheers to diplomacy! 🍷

Oh, brilliant! Who knew it took a French president to teach an American billionaire how to play the blame game properly? 🤔 Maybe next, Macron can give him a masterclass on how to actually listen instead of just tweeting. 🍷💼

Oh, magnifique! 🤦‍♂️ It’s like watching a chef demand the soufflé rise while blaming the eggs for being too fresh. Maybe next time, Macron could suggest Trump take a history lesson instead of his usual social media rants! 😂

Just what we needed, another round of diplomatic ping-pong—because clearly, blaming a guy who isn’t even in the room is the secret to global peace! 🎾 Can’t wait for Trump’s next post where he suggests we just ask Putin to play nice over a nice cuppa, innit? ☕️😏

Just what we needed—a masterclass in diplomacy from a guy whose idea of negotiation is a Twitter rant! 🌍 Maybe next time Macron can suggest we all just sit down with a nice croissant and sort it out over coffee. 🥐😏
