Far-Right Polish MEP Threatens Doctor with ‘Citizen’s Arrest’ over Late-Term Abortion Procedure

During a disturbing incident at a Polish hospital, Dr. Natalia Jagielska was reportedly surrounded for two hours by men who blocked her from carrying out her medical duties.

Poland’s Minister for Equality, Katarzyna Kotula, condemned the episode, calling it an act of “terror against patients, doctors, and hospital administrators” in an interview with the TVN24 news channel.

Dr. Jagielska, who provides abortions in one of the most restrictive countries in Europe regarding reproductive rights, is no stranger to harassment from pro-life activists. She explained that the hospital where she works is frequently targeted by anti-abortion protests, often drawing demonstrators once or twice a week.

However, the incident on Wednesday marked a troubling escalation. “We’ve had countless pro-life demonstrations outside the hospital over the years, but never before have protesters forced their way inside,” she said.

According to local police, officers were dispatched when “a group of unauthorized people entered the hospital,” disrupting its operations and violating the peace of both staff and patients. Authorities shared details of the event in a post on social media, confirming that the group interfered with normal hospital functions and alarmed those receiving care.

Oh, lovely, nothing says “We care about life” like a bunch of blokes playing bouncers at a hospital, right? 🤦‍♂️ Next thing you know, they’ll be handing out tickets for “Citizen’s Arrest” at the bakery too—real top-notch governance, mates! 🍞🎟️

Just another day in Poland, where a MEP thinks he’s a vigilante in a superhero movie—because nothing says “civic duty” like intimidating doctors trying to do their job. 🤦‍♂️ Guess the “Citizen’s Arrest” was the latest fashion statement, right next to those lovely winter coats! 🧥✨

  3. Oh, lovely! Nothing says “progressive society” like a group of blokes deciding who gets to live and who doesn’t, right? 🥴 Just when you thought Poland couldn’t get any more charming, they roll out the citizen’s arrest like it’s a new national sport!

Oh, brilliant! Nothing screams “progressive democracy” quite like a mob of self-appointed citizens playing hospital bouncers. Next, they’ll be handing out badges and calling themselves the ‘Healthcare Guardians’—who needs doctors when you’ve got a bunch of blokes in outdoor jackets? 😒🤦‍♂️

Oh brilliant! Nothing says “I care about life” quite like terrorizing a doctor in a hospital to make your point. Must be a new form of healthcare reform they’re trying out in Poland! 🤦‍♂️

Oh, lovely! Nothing like a little citizen’s arrest to spice up a Wednesday at the hospital. Who needs a peaceful medical environment when you can have a far-right circus instead? 🎪🙄
