The SOCIEUX+ program, an initiative of the European Union, was introduced at the Europe House in Tirana as a significant step in assisting Albania in aligning with EU standards.
SOCIEUX+ aims to enhance social protection, labor, and employment systems in Albania through the exchange of knowledge and European expertise, tailored to the country’s specific needs.
This program reflects the EU’s dedication to fostering a stronger and more inclusive society in Albania.
During the presentation, Hubert Perr, Head of Cooperation at the EU delegation in Tirana, highlighted that SOCIEUX+ provides short-term assistance across social protection, labor, and employment sectors through a model based on knowledge exchange.
Perr noted that the program allows Albania to leverage the experiences and best practices of EU member states, aiding in the alignment of its laws and standards during the EU accession process.
“This effort goes beyond merely amending legislation; it is about transforming society for the betterment of all Albanians,” Perr emphasized on January 27.
