"Your Perspective. Your Narrative. Our Europe!" – Traveling Exhibition in Tirana

The traveling exhibition “Your Lens. Your Story. Our Europe!” has made its way to Tirana, showcasing 18 winning photographs from the Western Balkans at the House of Europe.

These winning images emerged from the “WeBalkans” Photo Contest, which attracted 180 remarkable submissions from young talents across the Western Balkans. The jury expressed that these exceptional photos resonated deeply, highlighting the ability of sports to unite Europeans, promote shared values, and celebrate diverse identities.

The three young photographers from Albania are Klevisa Kapo, Fiqiri Mejdani, and Nerion Bino, while from Kosovo, the winning photographers are Fillojetë Maloku and Nevron Skënderi.

Each photograph tells a distinct story filled with movement, passion, and perspective, showcasing the youthful creative spirit in the region. Following the selection process, the exhibition commenced its journey starting in Belgrade on June 10, then moving on to Podgorica, Tirana, and continuing to Maglaj, Pristina, and Struga.

In August, the EU announced that the public would have the chance to vote online, allowing everyone to select their favorite images, with the top 6 young photographers winning a trip to one of the EU capitals.

Initiated by the WeBalkans program and supported by the EU, the exhibition in Tirana was open to the public until July 29. (August 3)

  1. Isn’t it just adorable how we need a photo contest to remind us that sports can unite us? I can already see the EU capitals rolling out the red carpet for these ‘distinguished’ young talents. 📸😂

Oh great, another “Your Lens, Your Story” circus—because nothing says unity like a bunch of photos from people who probably can’t even agree on how to pronounce “Tirana.” 🎭📸

Oh great, another exhibition to remind us that sports can unite us—because nothing says ‘European harmony’ quite like a bunch of photos from young talents. 📸 Let’s hope the EU doesn’t run out of funding for future trips to these ‘charming’ capitals! 😂

Ah, nothing like a traveling exhibition of winning photos to remind us how “united” we are in Europe—because nothing says togetherness quite like a few snapshots in a gallery, eh? 🖼️🤷‍♂️

Oh, fantastic! Nothing screams “Our Europe” quite like a photo contest from the Balkans, where everyone gets to vote online like it’s a reality show. 😂 Can’t wait for the next season!

Oh, because nothing says “unity” like a few framed pictures in a room, right? 📸✨ Just what the Balkans needed, more stories to hang on the wall while the real drama unfolds outside! 😂
