Van crash on E17 in Lokeren leaves driver badly injured

Lokeren (Eurotoday Newspaper) – A van overturned on the E17 motorway in Lokeren, landing in a ditch. The driver sustained serious injuries and was taken to hospital for treatment.

The collision occurred a few hundred meters before the parking lot in Kalken, Belgium, at approximately 2:00 p.m. on the E17 freeway heading towards Ghent.

A van was observed gradually slipping out of the right lane by other drivers. In the end, the van crossed the guardrail and ended up in the E17 ditch.

The driver was locked in his van and had to be freed by emergency personnel who raced to the spot. He suffered severe injuries and was sent to the hospital.

The reason for the catastrophe must now be investigated.

The man might have slept off or gotten sick. In the end, the collision only slightly disrupted traffic.

What caused the van to overturn on the E17?

An investigation is being conducted to ascertain the exact details of the Lokeren van crash, but preliminary findings do not examine the actions of the driver or external factors in any detail.

The van flipped over on the E17 motorway in Lokeren, allegedly following a loss of control or a handling issue, though the precise reason is currently under investigation and has not yet been officially confirmed.

The van overturned on the E17 motorway because it lost control, and while the exact reasons are still being investigated, common causes for this kind of highway accident loom include sudden maneuvers, oversteering, shifting cargo, and road conditions, although specific details have yet to be confirmed by authorities regarding this accident.

Just another day on the E17, where even the vans seem to think they can take a little detour into the ditch! 🚐💨 Maybe he was just trying to avoid paying for parking in Kalken, eh? 🤷‍♂️

  2. Seems like someone took “driving while drowsy” to new heights—literally! 🚐💨 But hey, at least traffic wasn’t too grumpy about it, right? 😂

What a delightful day for an impromptu van gymnastics show on the E17! I suppose he thought the ditch was just a fancy parking spot—who needs road safety when you’ve got a flair for drama? 🤷‍♂️🚐💨

  4. Seems like someone took the “upside down” approach to driving on the E17. Better call the insurance, because that van’s seen a lot less road than it should have! 🚐💨

Just another day on the E17, where even the vans are taking dramatic dives into ditches—perhaps they were just practicing for the Olympics? 🚐💦

Soo, a van decided to take a dip in the ditch instead of a nice parking spot, eh? Might wanna invest in some new brakes or at least a decent cup of coffee before hitting the road next time! 🚐💨😅

Looks like someone took “drive it like you stole it” a bit too literally. Hope the van was insured for this kind of ‘off-road adventure’! 🚐💨

Another day, another van deciding it wants to take a dip in the ditch on the E17. Looks like that driver really took “going off the rails” to a whole new level—hope he had his rubber ducky ready! 🦆💦
