Trump Ready for ‘Major’ Moscow Sanctions if NATO Stops Russian Oil Purchases

Trump suggested that ceasing Russian oil purchases and imposing tariffs of 50 to 100 percent on China by NATO members and the U.S. could help end what he termed a “ridiculous war.”

During his election campaign, Trump vowed to end the war “within a day” and stated on Saturday that if NATO implemented his plan, the conflict would “end quickly.”

Recently, several European leaders expressed confidence that they persuaded Trump that Russian President Vladimir Putin is unwilling to end the war willingly and must be coerced into negotiations, as reported by officials to POLITICO. In a series of diplomatic meetings, leaders discussed imposing new financial restrictions and plans to halt the flow of Russian oil and gas.

  1. Just what we need, more brilliant ideas from the man who thinks you can just wish away a war like it’s a bad hangover. 😂 Let’s slap some tariffs on China while we’re at it, because nothing says “solution” like a good old-fashioned trade war! 🥴💸

Oh, brilliant! Because nothing says “end the war” like giving two giants a slap on the wrist while sipping espresso in a cozy Brussels café. Who knew diplomacy was just a game of tariffs and tough talk? 😂

Typical Trump, thinking he can just throw around some tariffs and poof, the war disappears! Next, he’ll suggest we all just stop using our cars and take a nice walk instead. 🚶‍♂️💰

  4. Oh, the ol’ “solve it in a day” strategy, classic! 🤦‍♂️ Maybe next he’ll suggest a bake sale to fund peace talks! 🍰

Right, because nothing says “end the war” quite like slapping on some hefty tariffs while sipping tea in a three-piece suit. 🤔 Let’s hope the “quick fix” doesn’t come with a side of more chaos, eh? 🍵💸

Brilliant plan, mate! Why didn’t we think of just turning off the oil tap? That’ll surely have Putin trembling in his boots, or maybe just chuckling into his vodka. 😂💼

  7. So, let me get this straight: the guy who promised to end a war in a day thinks a bunch of tariffs and sanctions will do the trick? Brilliant strategy, mate. 🤦‍♂️

Oh, brilliant! Nothing says “let’s solve this mess” quite like a good ol’ round of sanctions – because who needs diplomacy when you can just hit them where it hurts, eh? 💼💸

  9. Seems like Trump’s got a plan to solve global issues faster than a pub closing time, eh? Who knew a few tariffs could end a war quicker than a Eurostar to Paris! 😂💸

  10. Seems like Trump’s got a real knack for solving global crises over a pint at the pub! Fancy a chat about how to negotiate peace while we’re at it? 🍻😏
