Stalteater Oelegem Unveils Murder as an Alibi on Halloween Night

Oelegem (Brussels Morning Newspaper) – The Stalteater in Oelegem launches the whodunit Murder as an Alibi on Halloween. 1st performance sold out. Directed by Ines Lemans, the play presents 11 shows in November.

As GVA News reported, the Stalteater on Knodbaan in Oelegem, in the province of Antwerp, Belgium, will begin its Halloween season by presenting the play Murder as an Alibi, which was written by Loek Elich. It will be directed by Ines Lemans and assisted by Ines Duces and will consist of 11 performances.  

What makes Stalteater Oelegem’s Murder as an Alibi a Must-See this November?

Murder as an Alibi, produced by Schuur, will be staged throughout November 2025. According to officials, the Stalteater in Oelegem is hosting the thriller Murder as an Alibi, a theatre production with all twists and turns, where nothing is what it seems. 75% of tickets are sold, and 2 performances are fully booked. The play runs at the Stalteater on Knodbaan. 

The theatre features actors such as Elke van de Wouwer, Yoke Cammaert, Els Donckers, Bart Stockman, Ann Palmers, Pascal Meulemans, Ann Jansens, Tom De Noël, and Greet Van De Peer. Tim Bruyninckx is in charge of technical direction. People can get tickets at www.stalteater.be.

The Stalteater was established in Oelegem in 1958 and has since developed into an important cultural site in the region. Throughout the years, both classic and contemporary plays have been performed there. The theatre celebrated its 65th anniversary in 2023.
