Slovenia Allocates Approximately 37 Million Euros for Erasmus Projects in 2025

Ljubljana – The European Commission has officially announced the Erasmus+ call for 2025, which will provide nearly five billion euros to enhance opportunities for studying abroad and foster collaboration in education, training, youth, and sports. This funding represents a 6.5% increase from the previous year. Slovenia is set to receive approximately 37 million euros for Erasmus+ initiatives in 2025.

The call aligns with the priority areas established in the Erasmus+ program for 2021-2027, targeting a diverse array of projects that encourage social inclusion, facilitate the green and digital transitions, and enhance youth engagement in democratic processes.

The Erasmus+ program encompasses all levels of education, including preschool and primary education, vocational and professional training, higher education, and adult learning, along with the domains of sports and youth initiatives. Its execution is primarily overseen by the European Commission in partnership with a network of national agencies across all participating nations. (November 27)
