The Russian state-owned arms exporter Rosoboronexport has accumulated an order portfolio exceeding $60 billion, according to Sergey Chemezov, CEO of Rostec. He made this announcement at the opening of the IDEX 2025 arms exhibition, held at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre from February 17 to 21, 2025.
Chemezov clarified that this figure pertains to orders placed through Rosoboronexport, rather than private Russian arms manufacturers.
A subsidiary of Rostec, Rosoboronexport is Russia’s sole authorized state intermediary for the export and import of military equipment, dual-use goods, technologies, and related services. The company plays a key role in implementing Russia's military-technical cooperation policy with foreign nations.
As the country’s exclusive state arms exporter, Rosoboronexport facilitates large-scale defense projects for international partners while driving innovation within Russia’s military-industrial complex.
