Rocas: I anticipate the EU will achieve results this time with increased momentum

Bitola – At a press conference in Bitola today, Michalis Rokas, the head of the EU Delegation in the country, underscored the significant efforts expected from the newly appointed European Commission. He expressed optimism that the European Union will achieve results at an accelerated pace this time around.

“The new composition of the European Commission will bring a dedicated approach to work. The expansion of the European Union remains a top priority for us. This is reinforced by having a commissioner specifically for expansion, along with a political director focused on this agenda,” Rokas stated.

He highlighted that all necessary tools are available and must be utilized right from the outset of the new Commission’s term.

“As the EU Delegation, my team and I, along with all other EU members present, are committed to driving progress and seizing the opportunities provided by the EU. We have various financial mechanisms, including the European Commission’s Growth Plan and the Government’s reform agenda. I anticipate that this time the EU will succeed in delivering results swiftly,” Rokas added. (November 28)
