Poland’s Tusk Warns of ‘Serious and Real’ Risk of Global War

Russian President Vladimir Putin announced early Friday that Moscow had deployed a new intermediate-range hypersonic ballistic missile targeting Ukraine. The strike, carried out on Thursday, was reportedly in retaliation against Kyiv’s recent use of advanced weaponry supplied by the United States and the United Kingdom.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy responded to Putin’s declaration by stating that Russia’s actions demonstrate “how scared” the Kremlin is of Ukraine’s efforts. Zelenskyy’s remarks emphasized Ukraine’s resilience in the face of escalating aggression.

The escalating conflict is drawing international concern, with Polish leaders and others interpreting the developments in ominous terms. A senior U.K. military official declared on Thursday that Britain’s armed forces stand “ready to fight” Russian forces “tonight” should Putin push his aggression further into Eastern Europe.

Adding to the warnings, Ukraine’s former military chief, Valery Zaluzhny, argued that “World War III has officially begun.” Zaluzhny pointed to the involvement of North Korean troops, Iranian drones, and Chinese weapons in Russia’s campaign, suggesting a broader international dynamic in the war.

  1. Well, nothing like a little hypersonic missile drama to spice up the weekend plans, right? 😏 I guess while we’re all sipping espresso, Putin’s busy playing chess with the world—let’s hope he doesn’t checkmate us all too soon! 🙄✨

Well, isn’t that just peachy? 🤦‍♂️ Nothing like a good ol’ missile launch to spice up the weekend plans in Eastern Europe, eh? Hope everyone’s got their emergency kits sorted because it seems Tusk’s got a flair for the dramatic. 🥴

Well, isn’t that just peachy? Who doesn’t love a good old-fashioned global conflict to spice up their Thursday? 🍷💣 If only the world leaders could have a friendly chat over a pint instead of launching missiles—might save a few lives and a lot of headaches! 🥴

The Church’s Influence in Today’s Society

By Father Alexander Men
When considering the Church’s role in today’s world, particularly in the Soviet Union where Orthodoxy is prevalent, we encounter a complex and unfortunate picture. This is due to a growing need for spiritual values and an understanding of faith among the people. Atheism isn’t widespread; instead, deep religious ignorance or paganism exists, yet the aspir

Montenegro Seeks EU Membership for Security, PM States

“Our motivation to join the EU stems from shared values, the benefits of the single market with its half a billion people compared to half a million Montenegrins, and it being a peace project, potentially the last one on Earth today,” Spajić said. “These factors represent the value of the European Union.”

Iran – United States: The Truce Is Not Peace, It Is a Strategic Pause – Op-ed by Isaac Hammouch

The perception of Iran as an immediate threat is misguided. Although it may never have posed such a danger in the traditional sense, this misconception has led to flawed strategic discussions in the West. A focus on short-term threats overlooks Iran’s real power, which is built on long-term, multidimensional strategies. Rather than seeking immediate attacks, Iran gradually increases its leverage
