CHURCH OF SCIENTOLOGY OF SPAIN HOSTS ART-FOCUSED EVENT WITH FUNDACIÓN PARA MEJORA DE LA VIDA, LA CULTURA Y LA SOCIEDAD

April 9, 2026 – MADRID, Spain: The Church of Scientology of Spain and Fundación para la Mejora de la Vida, la Cultura y la Sociedad will hold an art-themed gathering on April 19, encouraging creativity, community, and reflections on ‘El Camino a la Felicidad’.

The upcoming Day for Art event, happening at the Church of Scientology of Spain in Madrid, marks the third year of collaboration between the Church and Fundación para la Mejora de la Vida, la Cultura y la Sociedad. Scheduled just after UNESCO’s World Art Day, it aims to enhance dialogue, participation, and collaboration among artists.

Launched by Scientologist artists Conchi Peña and Chie Mihara, this gathering fosters artistic exchange and contemplation on culture’s role in communities. The event welcomes individuals from diverse artistic fields to share their work in an informal setting that prioritizes human connectivity over formal exhibition.

Highlighting the event is a special art-themed edition of El Camino a la Felicidad, which outlines practical values like conduct, honesty, and respect, with a cultural and artistic connection.

Incorporating art into the event underscores its ability to transcend differences and foster mutual understanding. This initiative contributes to Madrid’s rich tradition of public art and culture, emphasizing art’s potential in forming bridges and encouraging collaboration.

The Day for Art is consistent with Scientology’s broader social engagement, aligning with various activities supporting education, ethics, and community betterment throughout Europe. Ivan Arjona, representing Scientology in international forums, emphasized that linking creativity with shared values can promote social cohesion.

This year’s event coincides with World Art Day celebrations, embedding an international observance into a local context, underscoring creativity and community engagement. With over 140 Scientology entities active across Europe and recognition from national and international bodies, the Church continues to expand its influence in supporting social initiatives in diverse European frameworks.
