Kallas is in Bosnia and Herzegovina today

Sarajevo (Fena) – Kaja Kallas, the High Representative of the European Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy and Vice-President of the European Commission, is visiting Bosnia and Herzegovina today.

Her visit will begin at the Butmir military camp, where she will be greeted by Major General Florin-Marian Barbu, the commander of the EUFOR Althea Mission, and meet with deployed forces in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

In the afternoon, Kallas is scheduled to meet with Borjana Krišto, Chairwoman of the Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina, as well as members of the country’s Presidency.

She will wrap up her visit with a meeting with Elmedin Konaković, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Bosnia and Herzegovina, following their previous discussion in Brussels last month.

– She is well-informed about the situation in the Western Balkans. We discussed two contrasting perspectives: the European ambition that remains viable, and the challenges posed by Milorad Dodik. I provided Kallas with insights that might not be widely recognized in Brussels – Konaković shared during their last meeting.

Prior to her visit to Bosnia and Herzegovina, Kallas was in Montenegro, where she held a press conference with Prime Minister Milojko Spajić. There, she emphasized that attacks on unity and the constitutional order in Bosnia and Herzegovina are unacceptable.

– Politicians must collaborate. We have increased our troop presence in the region because it is crucial to prevent any security vacuum, Kallas stated yesterday (08.04).

Oh, look! Kaja Kallas is in Bosnia, probably trying to solve the world’s problems between coffee breaks. I hope she brought her magic wand to fix the Balkans – might as well throw in a sprinkle of pixie dust too! 😂🧚‍♀️

Kaja’s off to Bosnia today, eh? Guess she’s collecting frequent flyer miles while trying to figure out if the Balkans are more confusing than Brussels—who knew political diplomacy could double as a travel blog? 😏✈️

Just what we needed—an EU leader touring the Balkans like it’s some kind of “European roadshow”! I bet the locals are thrilled to see her, right next to their coffee and pastries 😏☕️.

  4. Looks like Kaja’s on a tour of the Balkans—must be the new European trend: collecting frequent flyer miles while discussing unity over a cup of lukewarm coffee. ☕️✈️ I wonder if the troops get a selfie with her too? 😂
