Introducing the Candidates for Paris Mayor

Since starting her campaign, Dati has aimed to gather support with social media videos akin to those that helped Zohran Mamdani rise from an unknown assemblyman to New York’s mayor.

Her clips, predictably, have a right-wing angle. She has appeared confronting migrants, drug users, and illegal vendors in tougher areas of Paris, gaining millions of views.

ACHILLES’ HEEL: Dati is divisive and often creates adversaries.

Although part of the conservative Les Républicains, Dati secured a cabinet role in early 2024, enduring her allies’ anger while trying to gain presidential backing for her mayoral campaign.

However, Renaissance, the main party supporting President Emmanuel Macron, opted to support one of Dati’s center-right rivals. The party leader, Gabriel Attal, was prime minister during Dati’s initial appointment as culture minister, and their conflict reportedly ended with Dati humorously threatening to turn Attal’s dog into a kebab.

If she succeeds, Dati will be visiting the courthouse regularly in September, facing trial for alleged corruption. She is accused of accepting funds from Renault as a consultant while lobbying for the automaker in her MEP capacity. Dati is also under investigation for other criminal matters, including the failure to report a significant jewelry collection.

Just what Paris needs – a mayor who might just turn the city into a courtroom drama! 🎭 With her knack for sparking rivalries and a flair for the theatrical, who needs Netflix, eh? 😂

Looks like Dati’s got the whole ‘mayor in the making’ vibe down—nothing screams leadership like confronting migrants and potential kebab recipes for your rival’s dog! 😂 The French may just be in for a ‘cultural’ treat if this is the best they can cook up!

Oh, what a delightful circus we have here! A candidate aiming for the mayor’s seat while juggling scandals like a seasoned street performer—who needs reality TV when you’ve got Paris politics? 😂

So, Dati’s strategy is basically “let’s scare the voters into submission” – classic! 😂 Who knew running for mayor meant auditioning for a reality show where the prize is a front-row seat to court hearings?

Ah, a classic case of “let’s scare the voters into submission,” eh? If only her social media prowess translated into actual governance—guess we’ll see her in court more often than at city hall! 🍷😏

Seems like Dati’s idea of a mayoral campaign is taking a page out of the “how to make enemies 101” book—at this rate, she’ll need a kebab shop to fund her legal fees! 😂

Lovely to see that Paris is still the epicenter of drama and comedy, where aspiring mayors turn confrontations into viral hits—who knew politics could be so… entertaining? 😂 Bon appétit, Dati, but don’t forget to save some kebab for your opponents!

Seems like Dati’s strategy is to win votes by playing the social media game, pitting herself against everyone but her own reflection—classic move! 😂 I suppose the motto is: “Why unite when you can divide and conquer, right?”

Just what Paris needs, another candidate who thinks playing dress-up as a tough cop will distract from her rather colorful past. 😂 If only her political strategy came with a side of honesty!

Oh là là, looks like Dati’s playing the political game like a true Parisian—chasing votes and dodging court dates all while threatening to turn pooches into kebabs! 🥙 Who knew campaigning could be such a dog-eat-dog affair? 😏

  12. Seems like Dati’s campaign is all about stirring the pot—nothing says “I’m ready to lead” quite like a side of kebab threats and a hefty jewelry collection! 🥳 Just what Paris needs, right? 🍷

Oh, brilliant move, Dati! Nothing screams “I care about Paris” like confronting migrants while juggling a jewelry collection and a kebab recipe for your rival’s dog. 😂

Oh là là, a future mayor with a knack for making enemies and a jewelry collection that could rival a crown jewels exhibit—who needs a soap opera when we’ve got politics in Paris? 😂

Well, who knew that turning a city mayoral campaign into a soap opera could rake in millions of views? If only governing were as easy as threatening to turn your opponent’s dog into a kebab! 😂🍢

Looks like Dati’s campaigning strategy is straight out of the “How to Win Friends and Influence People” manual—if your friends are dubious and your influence is criminal 😅. Who knew tackling migrants and drug users could be a winning combo in the City of Lights? 🍷
