BRUSSELS – The European Commission has revealed its approval of 135 projects under the technical support instrument for EU nations, facilitating the preparation, development, and implementation of a total of 390 reforms for this year. Bulgaria will benefit from support for 10 of these projects.
The national project list for Bulgaria includes initiatives aimed at enhancing the efficiency of budget investments, initiatives for better forest management, measures to improve road safety, and support for the Ministry of Electronic Governance in crafting policies for artificial intelligence implementation. Additionally, Bulgaria is set to receive backing for several collaborative projects with other EU countries, such as initiatives for the digital transition in competition law, digitization in educational institutions, and enhancing data exchange among European tax authorities.
Across the EU, the projects endorsed by the Commission are designed to enhance citizens’ quality of life, improve budget administration, foster a more favorable business environment, and adapt energy networks to support the ongoing digital transition, as highlighted in a statement from the EC.
