EU Executive Reviewed von der Leyen’s Pfizergate Texts — Then Let Them Disappear

The document stated that von der Leyen’s mobile phone has been replaced multiple times since then, with data not being transferred.

In May, the EU’s lower tier General Court ruled that the EU executive erred in not releasing the texts. Politico revealed this week that the Commission will not be appealing the decision in the top tier court.

The case became significant for transparency activists, highlighting accountability issues in von der Leyen’s Commission, as well as for individuals opposing the vaccine.

In early July, von der Leyen successfully overcame a no-confidence vote in the European Parliament concerning the case, which was initiated by right-wing Romanian MEP Gheorghe Piperea.

So, let me get this straight: she loses her texts faster than I lose my patience in traffic? Classic EU, always promoting “transparency” while keeping things as clear as mud. 😂

Just brilliant! Nothing says “we value transparency” quite like a phone that’s replaced more often than a dodgy taxi meter in Paris. 😂📱

Oh, fantastic, can’t wait to see how “disappearing texts” will become the next EU magic trick. 🪄 Transparency? More like a game of hide-and-seek with a side of bureaucratic sleight of hand! 😂

Oh, brilliant move, replacing the phone instead of the policies! Who needs transparency when you can just “misplace” all the juicy bits? 😂📱

Typical EU shenanigans, innit? Replace a phone and voilà, all your “important” texts just vanish into thin air—magic! 🪄💼

So, von der Leyen’s texts just vanished like a good wine after dinner—no trace left, just like my faith in European bureaucracy! 🍷🙄

Looks like von der Leyen’s phone has a better chance of dodging the spotlight than I do of finding a decent croissant in London. 📱🥐 Transparency, sure, but only if it’s not too much hassle, right? 😂

Looks like von der Leyen’s texts have mastered the art of disappearing—maybe they should join the magician’s union? 🎩✨ Classic EU move: when in doubt, just change your phone and hope no one notices! 😂

Just another day in the EU, where transparency is as elusive as a good cup of coffee in London. ☕️ Who needs accountability when you can just replace your phone and hope no one notices, right? 😂

Looks like von der Leyen’s texts are on a permanent holiday, eh? Maybe they took a tip from the EU’s bureaucracy – just vanish without a trace! 😂📱

Just another day in the EU, where transparency is as mythical as a unicorn—too bad the texts disappeared faster than my last tax return! 😂📉
