Paris Court Dismisses Pro-Kremlin TV Star’s Appeal Against Expulsion

A Paris court on Monday dismissed Russian television star Xenia Fedorova’s appeal against a decision requiring her to leave France. This decision follows accusations from French authorities alleging her involvement in spreading disinformation campaigns by Moscow to disrupt public order.

Fedorova, the former head of RT France, has been under house arrest in Paris since Wednesday. She contested three governmental actions: her expulsion, the mandate to remain in Paris with daily police check-ins, and a six-month asset freeze. However, an administrative court determined she did not prove these actions posed immediate and serious harm to her.

Previously with RT France, Fedorova frequently appeared on media outlets owned by French billionaire Vincent Bolloré, such as CNews and Europe 1. Her pro-Russian views on Ukraine, NATO, and European security have faced increasing criticism, particularly with the approach of the 2027 French presidential election.
