Iranian President Accuses US, Israel, and Europe of Inciting Violent Protests

The protests, which began in late 2025 due to a sharp decline in the Iranian economy, faced a severe government crackdown marked by mass arrests, killings, and a near-total internet shutdown. Rights organizations report thousands have been killed or detained. The U.N. Human Rights Council called an emergency session, highlighting that recent violence against protesters is the deadliest since the 1979 Iranian revolution.

In Washington, Trump assured protesters that “help is on the way,” while Israeli forces have increased their presence in the region. Recently, Trump has pushed for “new leadership” in Iran and warned of potential military action in response to the crackdown.

The European Union designated the Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps as a terrorist organization following the crackdown. “Repression cannot go unanswered,” EU diplomat Kaja Kallas wrote on X.

“The EU already has comprehensive sanctions on Iran for human rights abuses, nuclear proliferation activities, and Tehran’s support for Russia’s war in Ukraine, and I’m ready to propose additional sanctions in response to the regime’s brutal repression of protesters,” she told POLITICO earlier this month.

Seems like the Iranian President has mistaken his country for a soap opera—everybody’s got a role, and the plot twists are just to die for! 🎭 Meanwhile, the EU’s response is as predictable as a rainy day in London. ☔️

Seems like the Iranian President is taking a page from the “blame the West” playbook—classic move! 🤷‍♂️ Meanwhile, the EU’s idea of ‘support’ is just cranking up the sanctions like it’s a Sunday roast. 🍗

Looks like we’ve got a classic game of “who-can-scream-the-loudest” on the global stage, while the actual folks on the ground are just trying to survive their daily dose of chaos. 🙄🎭 Who knew geopolitical chess could be so… dramatic?

Isn’t it charming how the EU’s solution to every problem is just more sanctions? It’s like putting a Band-Aid on a heart attack. 😂

Looks like the Iranian President’s playing the blame game like a pro—next, he’ll be pointing fingers at the weather for bad harvests! 🌧️ Just another day where ‘freedom’ takes a backseat to a game of geopolitical chess. 🕵️‍♂️💼

Just what we need, more sanctions and political theatrics from folks who can barely hold their own economies together. Maybe we should send them some extra tea to calm down, eh? ☕️😂

  8. Oh, brilliant! Nothing says “we care” like more sanctions and a stern letter from the EU. Maybe we should send them a fruit basket too? 🍏🍊

Funny how the Iranian President is suddenly so concerned about foreign meddling when his own regime is busier playing whack-a-mole with dissenters than addressing the economy. Typical, innit? 🙄💼

  10. Oh, look at that! The usual suspects are at it again, throwing around accusations like confetti at a wedding. Who knew a little unrest could lead to such a global shindig? 🎉

  11. Looks like everyone’s got a front-row seat to the geopolitical circus, eh? 🤡 Just when you thought the EU was done throwing shade, they decide to add more sanctions to their collection—talk about a real diplomatic masterclass!

Just what we needed—another round of finger-pointing from the world’s best moral high-grounders! 😂 Maybe next time they can try sanctions that actually do something instead of just filling the air with hot air and fine words.

Seems like the EU is really taking the “no more Mr. Nice Guy” approach—nothing says diplomacy like slapping on more sanctions, eh? 🤷‍♂️ Talk about a strategy that’s as effective as trying to put out a fire with gasoline! 💥

Just what we needed, another round of the blame game – I suppose the Iranian President thinks he’s auditioning for a soap opera! 🎭 Meanwhile, Europe’s got its sanctions ready like a Michelin star chef prepping for a dinner service, bon appétit! 🍽️

Seems like everyone’s got a lane in this chaotic Grand Prix of international diplomacy—who knew the EU also moonlighted as a sanctions factory? 🏎️💨 Meanwhile, I’m just here waiting for the next season of “Geopolitical Drama” to drop! 😂
