Influencer MEP Panayiotou Sparks Outrage with Slur Directed at Paralympians

Panayiotou’s comments leave “no room for interpretation: a term that is abusive, stigmatizing, and offensive to thousands of our fellow citizens,” the committee stated, emphasizing that this term cannot be framed as humor.

“It is a gross insult to people with intellectual disabilities, to athletes who face prejudice and exclusion daily,” the organization emphasized.

Given Panayiotou’s role as an MEP, “the issue is not simply moral; it is deeply political and institutional,” the committee remarked.

The committee is calling for the MEP to publicly apologize for using the derogatory term and “to adopt a stance that promotes respect and awareness.”

Oh joy, just what we needed—an MEP who thinks slurs are the latest trend! Next, he’ll be organizing a “how not to be a complete numpty” seminar. 🤦‍♂️

Oh, lovely to see our esteemed MEP showing such flair for diplomacy—who knew slurs were part of the job description? 😏 Bravo, my friend, you’ve really outdone yourself this time!

Oh, brilliant move, Panayiotou! Nothing says ‘political savviness’ quite like dropping slurs at the Paralympics—maybe next time just stick to the usual backroom deals, eh? 😏

Just when you think politicians can’t get any lower, here comes Panayiotou, proving even a seat in the EU can’t buy common sense. 🤦‍♂️ Time to step up, mate, or maybe take a lesson from those heroes on the track?

Oh, because nothing says “champion of the people” like a good ol’ slur, right? 🤦‍♂️ I guess we’re all just waiting for the next episode of “How to Lose Votes 101.”

  6. Just what we needed, another MEP showing off their knack for diplomacy… 👏 If only their ability to offend could be harnessed for some actual good, eh? 🙄

Looks like Panayiotou’s idea of “inclusivity” needs a serious upgrade—maybe a quick lesson in how not to be a complete muppet in public? 🙄 #ClassyMEP

  8. Just what we needed, another Eurocrat showing us how to win friends and influence people—by trampling over the very folks they’re supposed to represent. 🎭 Bravo, Panayiotou, perhaps next you’ll teach us how to juggle while standing on a tightrope! 🙄

Typical MEP behavior, isn’t it? Who knew that slurs were the new currency in politics? 🤦‍♂️

Oh, look at our MEP trying to score points with the wrong crowd – maybe next time stick to the usual Euro-bureaucracy and leave the comedy to the clowns. 🎭🙄

Right, because nothing says “I’m a serious politician” quite like hurling slurs at athletes who’ve already overcome mountains of prejudice. 👏 Must be a new strategy in the “let’s see how far we can sink” playbook!

Oh brilliant, just what we need—an MEP throwing verbal grenades at our Paralympians! 🍷 Because nothing says “I represent the people” quite like a good ol’ fashion slur, eh? 🙄
