Prime Minister: Drone Incidents Have Not Increased Slovenia’s Threat Level

Copenhagen – Slovenian Prime Minister Robert Golob stated that Slovenia’s threat level has not increased due to recent drone-related incidents in northern and eastern Europe. He pointed out that the country faces greater risks from natural disasters.

“Current assessments from our security services indicate that Slovenia’s threat level remains low. The incidents we have observed in northeastern Europe do not impact us,” Golob mentioned, referring to recent Russian drone incursions in Poland and Romania and incidents involving drones in Denmark.

He believes Slovenia is safe from eastern threats but acknowledges vulnerability to natural disasters, particularly in the Mediterranean region.

“We stand in solidarity with other European nations and expect their support when needed,” the Prime Minister remarked as he arrived for an informal EU summit in Denmark, which addressed European defense and ongoing support for Ukraine.

Golob added that the Slovenian government will advocate for an expanded security concept in the timeline aimed at enhancing EU defense readiness by 2030.

He also discussed the proposed new loan of 140 billion euros for Ukraine, which is suggested to be financed with Russian assets frozen under Western sanctions.

“Guarantees for this loan could only be provided if we receive assurances from international institutions, like the European Central Bank, regarding the legal viability of such a mechanism,” the Prime Minister clarified regarding Slovenia’s stance. (October 1)

Seems like Slovenia’s biggest threat is a rogue drone trying to find a parking spot. 🌍🛩️ Natural disasters, eh? Well, at least the weather has a better aim than some of our politicians! 😏

Looks like Slovenia’s only threat is the occasional stray drone and a good dose of bad weather – who knew Mother Nature was our real nemesis? 😂 Safe from the east, but better stock up on umbrellas and sandbags, eh? 🌧️🌊

  3. Typical, innit? While everyone’s dodging drones, our PM’s more worried about Mother Nature throwing a tantrum. Guess Slovenia’s real enemies are thunderstorms and the odd avalanche! 🌩️😂

  4. So, let me get this straight: Slovenia’s biggest threat is a rainy day? Brilliant, maybe we should send the drones to help with the flooding instead. 😂

Nothing like a good ol’ drone scare to remind us that nature’s got a knack for being the real menace, eh? 🌪️ Just keep the bees buzzing and the floods at bay, and we’ll be just fine! 😏

So, Slovenia’s main threat is a rogue drone, eh? Meanwhile, Mother Nature is over here ready to throw a spectacular tantrum. Gotta love prioritizing the invisible enemy over the one that can actually cause a flood! 😏

  7. Oh, brilliant! So while our neighbors are dodging drones like it’s a new sport, we just sit here waiting for the next Mediterranean wave to wash us away. Cheers to Slovenia’s “low threat level” – just don’t ask the weather gods! 😂

Funny how drones buzzing around are a bigger deal for our neighbors while we’re just trying to keep the roofs on during a storm. 🤷‍♂️ Maybe we should send them some umbrellas instead of drones, eh? 🏠☔️

Seems like Slovenia’s more worried about a wayward olive tree than a drone invasion—priorities, eh? 🌳✈️ Guess we’ll just send our drones to the vineyards instead! 🍷

  10. Slovenia’s threat level is as low as my chances of winning the lottery, but hey, at least we’re not dodging drones while waiting for a natural disaster to sweep us off our feet. 🥴 Cheers to solidifying those EU defenses—just hope we don’t need them for a wild summer storm instead! 😅

Oi, it’s comforting to know Slovenia’s biggest worry is dodging falling trees rather than looming drones, right? 😏 Sounds like the Prime Minister’s got his priorities straight—better watch out for those pesky leaves! 🌳✈️

Oh, lovely! So, while Slovenia’s dodging drones like it’s a game of dodgeball, we’re apparently more worried about a wayward wave than a rogue UAV. 🌊✈️ Classic European priorities, innit? 😂

Slovenia’s threat level is as low as my enthusiasm for the weather forecast—let’s just hope those drones don’t start delivering our coffee! ☕️😏
