How does Costa view Lebanon’s political stability?
European Council President Antonio Costa has issued various statements about Lebanon, especially as far as political stability and its ongoing humanitarian problems are concerned.
In recent statements, he appealed for a complete ceasefire in Lebanon, with a pressing call for peace and stability in the region in the face of current tensions. He called upon all parties to adhere to their agreements on the ceasefire to stop the further escalations of violence.
Costa has also been vocal about the humanitarian assistance needed in Lebanon, especially with the current struggles of the healthcare system of the country due to ongoing conflicts. He urged the EU member states to respond to Lebanon’s requests for medical aid and that coordinated support was needed to address the humanitarian crisis.

Oh great, another congratulatory call from Europe – because we all know a friendly chat is the key to solving Lebanon’s problems. Maybe Costa should send a carrier pigeon next time; it might get there faster than his promises! 😂

Congrats to Aoun on becoming Lebanon’s new president! 🎉 I guess it’s time to dust off those ‘Hope for Lebanon’ mugs, right? ☕️ Let’s see if a phone call really changes anything more than just the wallpaper on his office. 😂

Impressive how a phone call can turn a political kerfuffle into a fairy tale—next, they’ll be sending him a congratulatory postcard from Brussels! 📬✨ One can only hope the hope lasts longer than a Euro in a vending machine… 🤷♂️

Oh, splendid! Nothing screams “hope” like a chat between a politician and a newly elected president of Lebanon while the region is still a bit of a hot mess. Can’t wait for Aoun’s Brussels tour – I hear the waffles are to die for! 🧇😂

Oh, splendid! Just what Lebanon needed—a congratulatory call from Mr. Costa. Because nothing says “stability” like a phone chat from a fellow who can barely manage his own council meetings. 😂📞
