Priti Patel: Urgent Action Needed on ‘Boriswave’ Attack

Priti Patel acknowledged the term “Boriswave” as a direct attack, accepting it and emphasizing the need for action, aligning with her party’s current stance.

The Conservatives have revealed plans to establish a new force for detaining and deporting individuals, inspired by the U.S. immigration enforcement agency ICE, aiming to remove 750,000 people in the next five years.

However, in an interview with POLITICO, Patel seemed to distance from the comparison made by her party, highlighting differences when faced with examples of ICE overreach.

“The two are different. America’s model is very different,” she noted, explaining that the British version would differ due to distinct laws.
